Well hello there! The good news for today is: Welcoming Words can be surprising. There can even be welcoming words you can surprise others with. You just never know what amazing appointment or interruption may be awaiting you in the most unlikely situation. Perhaps you will have a chance to help another or even make improvements in yourself.

Todays focus: Customer service people. Think about the last time you received assistance from someone in the business sector. If it was good, what did you like? If it was not the greatest what would you have had done differently? Be the person who will do the next right thing in the situation. Decide beforehand, even at the beginning of each day, that you will make a positive difference in your life and the life of the people you encounter. Think about blessing another person and yourself with a good attitude.

Application: Before responding to situation, remember, do not react. Take a breath and step back. (It is ok to count to seven.) Often things are not what they seem. It is worth extending some grace to others and ourselves as well. In taking a pause, the tenor of the moment can be changed. We have a chance to make a change in how we finish an encounter and create a less stressful incident for another and yourself as well.

Why it matters: You can make a choice as to how you will allow your day to go. Sometimes things seem to be completed derailed. By changing how you decide to proceed during the day, you have control over what you will choose to do. How will you do the impossible? Respond to the inner voice of good and reason. Personal welcoming words can be a catalyst for your change.
